The fourth cohort of graduates from the Leicester International Institute, Dalian University of Technology (DLI) has achieved remarkable success, solidifying its reputation as a beacon of academic excellence and career advancement. As of 1^st July, 288 students have successfully graduated from DLI, each poised to make significant strides in their respective fields contributing to an overall employment and further education rate of 100%, significantly surpassing the average for DUT.

A staggering 83.7% have chosen to pursue further studies, reflecting the institute’s commitment to fostering academic growth. Notably, 91 students have been accepted into prestigious postgraduate programs at top universities across China, including Peking University and Tsinghua University, underscoring their academic prowess and competitiveness within the nation.

Furthermore, an impressive 150 graduates have been accepted into renowned overseas universities worldwide, reinforcing DLI’s global standing. This cohort includes placements at prestigious institutions such as Oxford University and Imperial College London in the UK, University of Singapore in Singapore, University of Melbourne in Australia, University of Toronto in Canada, Columbia University in America, Ecole Polytechnique in France, Lund University in Sweden, Osaka University in Japan, etc. 93% offers are from the universities ranked within the QS top 100, highlighting DLI’s international recognition and the global mobility of DLI graduates.

Noteworthy achievements also include 38 graduates who have been admitted to prestigious PhD programmes. Among them, 9 students have secured funding to study at the University of Leicester.

In terms of career placements, 47 graduates have secured positions with well-known companies or governments, such as Shanghai Huawei Technologies Co., LTD, PetroChina Company Limited, Guangdong Province Taxation Bureau, etc. further demonstrating DLI’s emphasis on preparing students for the various professional world.
