There are 29 students in Engineering 1702, including 2 probationary Party members and 26 members  of the Chinese Communist Youth League. Of them, 1 won the titile of  “Provincial Outstanding Graduate”, 1 of “Municipal Outstanding Graduate”  and 7 of “School Outstanding Graduates”.

The  students in this class have excellent academic performance, with a 100%  passing rate of CET 4 and a 76% passing rate of CET 6. Class members  have participated in various scientific innovation competitions, such as  the Mathematical Modeling Competitions and the Advanced Mathematics  Competitions, etc., In total, 37 students won prizes in them.

As  of June 2021, the class graduation rate was 86.21 percent. Among them, 5  have been recommended to postgraduate, including 1 to Tsinghua  University, 1 to Huazhong University of Science and Technology, 2 to  Dalian University of Technology, and 1 to Westlake University. 1 was  admitted into the School of Energy Engineering, Dalian University of  Technology, majoring in Thermal Energy Engineering, 16 have studied  abroad, including 10 to the UK, 3 to Imperial College London, 2 to  King's College London, 2 to the University of Leicester, 1 to the  University of Bristol, 1 to the University of Glasgow, 1 to the  University of Newcastle, 1 to the United States ( George Washington  University), and 5 to Asia (1 to the University of Hong Kong, 1 to  Hokkaido University, 1 to Nagoya University, 1 to the National  University of Singapore, and 1 to Nanyang Technological University,  Singapore). 1 have been employed in Baoneng Automobile Group Co., Ltd.

该班级同学成绩优异，班级大学英语4级通过率100%，6级通过率76%；班级成员参与各类科创竞赛、数模竞赛、高数比赛等，累计获奖37人次。

截至2021年6月，班级落位率为86.21%。其中班级已保研5人，包含清华大学1人、华中科技大学1人、大连理工大学2人、西湖大学1人；成功考研至大连理工大学能动学院热能工程专业1人；国外升学16人，其中英国10人(帝国理工学院3人，伦敦国王学院2人、莱斯特大学公费博士生项目2人，布里斯托大学1人、格拉斯哥大学1人、纽卡斯尔大学1人)，美国1人(乔治华盛顿大学1人)，亚洲地区5人(香港中文大学直博1人，北海道大学1人、名古屋大学1人，新加坡国立大学1人、南洋理工大学1人)。1人将赴宝能汽车集团有限公司就业。
