On May 9th, SCE held a seminar that focuses on the policies of postgraduate examination for DLI students in the Smart Classroom. Professors were invited to make a profound introduction and explanation from the aspect of subjects’ features, admission policy and other details.

First, Gao Wei, the Deputy Dean of SCE, introduced the admission policy of the year 2020 and emphasized the importance of choosing a tutor. He mentioned the importance of a clear subject direction and research prospects and suggested whether to continue studying for a Doctoral degree. He recommended that students need to choose by combining their characteristics. At the same time, he reminded the students to devote themselves to scientific research during the undergraduate period and do a good job in the connection of this research, to adapt to the study life of graduate students better.

After that, Liu Yi, Assistant Dean of SCE, introduced the internationalization project and explained the policy of overseas exchanges. Wu Jintao from the Department of Chemical Machinery and Safety introduced the major of Engineering to help students better understand the future career direction.

In the end, participants received detailed answers to their questions from the three professors. In this case, students present not only have a deeper insight into the strategy of postgraduation recommendation in SCE but also acquire new knowledge of the prospect of this major.
